I was recently asked to collaborate with a new brand called Ivie Page Living to help design some tablescapes with their collection of dishes, flatware and glasses. I was instantly intrigued by the concept where we incorporated vintage dishware and mixed them in with new linens, flowers and accessories to create updated looks for these beautiful and faithful patterns that have been a mainstay for so many years. The hope is also to inspire people to rethink using vintage patterns that they may already have and reimagine them by mixing and matching other patterns together. The concept for pattern mixing and scale applies to tablescapes the same as it applies in decorating so this was a fun riff on my usual design work.
Here are a few images from the shoots showcasing a few of the tables I put together.
